Release Group
A Release Group in Planet Zoo 2 combines eligible animals from Animal Storage into a species-specific group for release. Group Type determines its requirements. Finalising commits the animals: they cannot return to your zoo afterward.

Eligibility is not just ownership
Section titled “Eligibility is not just ownership”Owning an animal does not make it immediately selectable. Move it into Storage and check the selected species and Group Type’s member conditions. Membership requirements vary; a universal headcount would be misleading.
Reserve release and Quick Release
Section titled “Reserve release and Quick Release”Choose Release to Wildlife Reserve when you want to use the group in a reserve Ecosystem. Use Quick Release only when that immediate Conservation Credit action is your intended result. Finalisation is the key commitment boundary for returning animals to the zoo.
Follow the task
Section titled “Follow the task”Create and release a group step by step, including a commitment checklist and destination checks. See Ecosystem for Established versus Flourishing and Medium Cup Nest for the reserve Nature menu.
